End of School Update

School is almost over! Only two days left. They had to add three days since we had 4 snow days this year. Luckily they are early dismissal days!

Tanner got an award for track and for Language Arts

Maddie has been playing the organ the last few weeks in sacrament meeting.

She has been doing awesome!

Made the masterpiece for our Memorial Day BBQ

Went to Kinley's 4th grade picnic and brought her Chick-Fil-A

We got new kitchen countertops!

These are the ones we had before, which we think are original to the house

We got quartz and I love how the kitchen is so much brighter

Spring Break

We have been on Spring Break this week and it has been so fun!

Had my birthday!

Last year in my 30s!

During conference the girls wanted to make blankets

They turned out great!

The Easter Bunny came early

We took a trip to DC

We walked all over

We went to the museum of Natural History

Saw some dinosaurs

Saw the Hope Diamond

Went up to the Washington Monument

It was super windy up there

All these food trucks at the National Mall

Fountain at the Ronald Reagan Building

We ate at the Food Court in the Reagan building since that is where we parked

That night we had a fun mutual activity

The high counselor who is over our ward has this 24 foot rock climbing wall in a building on his property

The youth got to try it out

Maddie made it to the top on her first try

After helping all the youth for 2 hours, Trevor finally got a turn

The next day we went to Harpers Ferry

This is by the river

Had to throw some rocks

We ate at IHOP for dinner

We went to the local grocery store and they had this robot roaming around.

Maddie wasn't so sure about it

The next day we went to Harpers Ferry National Park and went on a hike

We got to see some Civil War sites, with cannons

And some beautiful views

We took the bus to the historic downtown area and walked around

We went to a bakery and got some treats

We ate them by the river

Did an Easter dinner and Easter egg hunt with our friends
