Graduation, bowling, and a fun date

Maddie's graduation ceremony from Joy school. Can you tell which kid is "the biter"?

Receiving her diploma!

Maddie and Tanner got to go bowling! They set up a ramp for them to roll the balls down and put bumper lanes up. Maddie bowled a 92!

All tuckered out.

Maddie's new pose.

Here it is again.

Tanner in a go-kart.

Uncle Ryan babysat for us!

Waving goodbye to the kids.

I forgot my hair bow!

We took a trip to Trails Drive-In in Trona. We had a great time. With the top down on the way back to town we had a brilliant night sky above us.

 Tanners favorite spot.

Fathers and Sons Campout

Tanner and I were excited to go!

Ryan came too. We went to Red Rock Canyon State Park.

One of the guys brought dirt bikes! Tanner and I went on a couple rides together.

Tanner helped to pitch the tent.

We explored the caves.

Climbing up to the higher caves was tough! Tanner was worried about the abominable snowman coming to get us.

Some of the caves were huge!

Good view from our short hike.

Three generations of Hedmans in another cave.

We did a little four wheeling on our way home.

We found a old miners cabin.

Here is the view from his cabin.

Making ourselves at home. Tanners eating his apple. I'm drinking out of an old can we found inside.

It was super fun!

Back from Norway

Bergen, Norway. This is where the meetings were held. I got to try lots of great new foods including moose, reindeer, whale, wolfish, and monkfish.

I went exercising with the Norwegians after work. They took me on a run from sea level to 1500 ft elevation - they are in great shape.

Below is part of the "900 steps of Bergen" that we climbed. This was super fun.

At the train station with Dev, who I work with. We took a lot of public transportation.

Here is one of the trains that we took. Very scenic through the Norwegian countryside.

A Viking fortress directly across the street from our hotel.

This is the street where we stayed for the week. A very scenic and clean city.

Me with some guys from work. We were taken on a tour of the Norwegian Navy ship behind us.

I caught a polar bear.

 Here is Bergen.

On a morning jog in Bergen.

Scenes from the fjords and mountains around Bergen.

Calling Natalie from Norway.

Commanding the Norwegian cannon arsenal.

I didn't realize how famous Natalie is!
