Trick or Treat for Halloween

We had a blast on Halloween! It was really fun to dress the kids up and see them in their costumes. They were super excited to fill their pumpkins up with candy.

Our youth program put on a little Halloween activity for the kids for mutual night on Thursday

This is pretty much what Maddie thought of it

Getting ready

Hi, I'm Woody! Howdy, howdy, howdy

Tanner kept taking his hat off all night but we managed to get a few pictures!

Everyone loved her dress and commented on how pretty she looked

Looking like a little model

Getting ready to go trick or treating!

Maddie was very good at saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" at each house

Tanner loved holding out his pumpkin and getting candy

At our neighbor's house

Lots of candy, plus a bat!

Showing off the mother lode

We turned off our lights because we were gone but our inside lights turn on automatically, so Trevor put these up to cover the windows so no one would get any ideas about ringing our doorbell

Enjoying their spoils (Tanner and Maddie got to eat some too!)

And that was our Halloween!
Thanks a ton to Grandma and Grami for helping with Tanner's costume!

Happy Birthday to Maddie!

Yesterday was Maddie's birthday! She is 4 years old now. We had lots of fun and she waited patiently all day to open her presents and eat her cake. We took her out for ice cream after lunch too.

Disneyland!

To celebrate Maddie's 4th birthday we went to Disneyland! Trevor's parents came with us and we had SO MUCH FUN!!

This is us at 6:00 AM getting ready to head out

Super excited to go

We got there right when the park opened and the first ride we went on was the Casey Junior Train

In front of Cinderella's castle

In line to meet the princesses

We were trying to catch Merida before she left and ran into Flynn Rider!
Here he is with the smolder

Rapunzel let Maddie touch her hair

In line to see the princesses.
This was probably the longest wait we had all day, about an hour.

Meeting Cinderella

And Snow White

And Ariel!

On the way to go on some rides in Fantasyland

Snow White ride

Peter Pan

Alice in Wonderland

The Matterhorn

I can't believe Maddie went on this one all by herself, especially since the abominable snowman was up there. She didn't even cry!

This place was soooo yummy! We ate at the Plaza Inn and the food was amazing.

We even got chocolate cake!

They had everything decorated for Halloween

On the train that goes around the whole park

We didn't want to wait in line to see Tiana so we got this picture instead

Tanner conked out while we were in line for Pirates

Watching the Tangled show. Maddie and I got to sit up at the front

The parade! Anna and Elsa came out first on a float of ice

Tanner was mesmerized

Maddie loved the parade, especially all the princesses!

We ended up staying in the park the entire day! We left around 8:30 or so after going on the Snow White ride and Pirates again. Everyone was exhausted and we just crashed in the hotel.

The next morning

We had so much fun all day. The kids were super well behaved and loved everything. Maddie is already asking when we can go back. Happy Birthday Maddie!
