Tanner's Birthday and Other Fun

 Tanner turned 10! 

We had lots of fun celebrating his birthday. 

He is such a good kid and we all love him a ton!

Trevor went on travel to Ridgecrest and got upgraded to a Mustang convertible for his rental car

Kinley got a makeover too

I went on a girls trip to Boise to see Adrienne and Alli.

I had my own row on the first flight.

So fun to see these girls!

We ate the best food.

Tried the dip powder for the first time and love it

Went to Johnny Carinos for dinner and it brought back so many memories

Worked out at a Barre class

Then went to the bakery to restore our energy

It was all amazing

Ate lunch at The Lively

Drove to Adrienne's house in Garden Valley and spent two days there.

We played lots of games and had fun chatting.

We spent lots of time watching movies and snuggling with the dogs

They had so much snow everywhere! 

We got to see their town and see their new house!

Diego finally warmed up to me and Alli after we bribed him with our phones, which is all he was interested in.

The girls trip was so much fun!

While I was gone, Trevor painted all the bathroom cabinets!

They look so much better.

They were different shades of blue before

They had a fire because it got really cold

Trevor gave the kitchen a touch up!

Repainted the cabinets, fixed the drawers and scrubbed and cleaned it all.

The kids said their least favorite part about me leaving was that I was gone.

They said their favorite part was all of the fast food and junk food they got to eat!

And that is what we have been up to the last month or so!

Christmas!!

 It's the end of Christmas break! We are sad that it is over. 

We did so many fun things together!

I started working as a tutor at the kids' school! 

It is the best job.

Our friend got Kinley a new nightstand, painted it and made it nice, and bought her a new lamp for her room

We went to Gilbert Run Park to walk the trail, and, of course, throw rocks in the lake

Parts of the lake were completely frozen!

They finally fixed the bridge, now it is really nice

Went to the Air and Space Museum at the Dulles airport. 

It was awesome!

We have been wanting to try it since we moved out here but there aren't any that are close to us.

I was pretty nervous but it ended up going really well

We moved the freezer and my extra food storage pantries on the wall so now there is more space

Got a TV for the downstairs so the kids can play Nintendo on it

We love the way it looks now! Trevor did such a great job and our basement looks so much nicer.

Had never done it before but it was pretty fun! And we got great results.

Trevor had Tanner for Secret Santa this year.

Tanner was feeling sick over Christmas weekend but is mostly recovered now.

Not pictured was watching Survivor, the kids playing happily together, staying up until midnight on New Year's Eve, and Trevor and I going on a date every day! We mostly went to the gym together to do Body Pump. We ate so much good food and after the absolutely freezing cold front we had, the weather has been really nice. We are all sad that the break is over.
