Trip to Phoenix

Trevor had to go to a conference in Phoenix for work and we went with him this time!
But first a few things . . .

I finally finished Kinley's stocking!
A lot of work but I was determined to finish it so she has one for Christmas this year.

We went to an Enchanted Winter Wonderland where we got to meet a bunch of the Disney Princesses!

They all gave us treats

And we even met the Abominable Snowman

Our friends from church were there so we went through it with them, super fun!

We stopped and ate at Red Robin near Palm Springs. About an hour into the trip I realized I had forgotten my swimsuit so while we were there we went to Kohls to buy one. We also went to Walmart to buy some medicine and treats for the kids since Tanner had a fever. It was about two hours before we were back on the road.

At the Railroad park in Scottsdale. This place was really cool and super fun.

On the train ride

Riding the carousel

They had a building full of model trains that drove around

Tanner loved it!

They had this huge park the kids loved playing on

There was a Burger King right next to our hotel so we went there about 3 times during our 4 day stay.
Every time the cleaning lady would knock on the door we would pretty much be doing this, watching SpongeBob. I'm sure she thought we were total bums!

At the Phoenix Children's Museum! This place was really fun and had tons of cool stuff.
We spent 3 hours here!

At the bike/car wash

They had an entire room just of forts made out of blankets to crawl around in

Such a cute grocery section

And a super cute kitchen. Maddie played in here the longest.

They had a super fun climbing structure and right by it were all these blocks and fun toys to play with.

Trevor brought the kids some Choco Tacos from the conference

On our drive to Phoenix I heard from my friend that her son, who plays with Tanner all the time, had come down with hand, foot and mouth disease and sure enough, Tanner got it. Maddie and Kinley both had fevers on the trip but no rash yet so we'll see.

Eating pizza at Target

Shopping at Men's Wearhouse with Daddy. Maddie said that "it's the most boringest house ever!"
Got a little more interesting when the saleslady turned on SpongeBob for them to watch. How did she know??

Had a gift card to the Cheesecake Factory so had to get some yummy chocolate cake for Trevor and of course, cheesecake for me.

I'm really glad I bought a swimsuit because we ended up swimming almost every day! It was a little cold but luckily the pool was heated.

Where it all began . . . .
We stopped at the Taco Bell in Adelanto on our way back.
We had such a fun trip and are really glad we got to go with Trevor this time! Maddie was super happy to be out of school and the weather was perfect the entire time.

Thanksgiving break

We had a lot of fun over Thanksgiving break! All of Trevor's siblings and families were able to come to Ridgecrest this year and we planned lots of fun things to do.

Trevor built these for the shooting competition

Hoping Prince Charming will appear

They opened the Super Walmart in Ridgecrest! I'm so happy

Reindeer antlers from Grami!

Casa Corona

Family dirt bike/Manx ride.
This was super fun because everyone got to participate.

Eating dinner at the kid table

Classic Burger for lunch

Family Night at our house

At Red Rock Canyon

Eating our picnic lunch

Exploring the caves

The whole group

Putting up the tree

One night Trevor and I went out to Bernardino's for dinner.
Kinley tagged along on our date.

An unfortunate accident that occurred with one of the cheesecakes in the fridge, luckily no one knew but me!

Chandra helped me make all the pies and they turned out great!

Black Friday shopping at Big 5

Putting up the lights on the very tall ladder

Kinley is really into the Frozen songs, especially "Let it Go" and loves to watch them on YouTube. She wasn't very comfortable with all the people at Grandma's house but became Uncle Ryan's best friend when he turned it on.

And that was our Thanksgiving break! We had so much fun with everyone here and were sad to see them go. Looking forward to Christmas!
