Summer Activities

 Our summer is going by so fast! 

Found this spider in the garage

Maddie got roller skates and she loves them!

Kinley just loved the fireworks and was so happy and excited during the show.

The show was the best one we have ever seen!

We decided for family night we would all do presentations on different topics.

We have done the human body, sea creatures, states and musical instruments.

Kinley did the guitar for her musical instrument presentation.

And that is our summer so far!

End of School Bash at Virginia Beach

To celebrate the end of the school year, we took the kids to Virginia Beach for a little vacation. 

But first a few pics of daily life

Maddie painted rocks at activity days.

They are back in person twice a month, so she goes every other week and then Tanner goes on the weeks that she is not going.

Kinley lost her first tooth!

The kids have a little garden on the deck and they take very good care of their plants, checking on them a few times a day and watering them. They are growing really good!

First stop was Taco Bell for lunch

The hotel had 3 awesome pools

One even had two slides!

We went to the beach, which was super clean and nice and beautiful

They had a fun playground on the beach

They also had an obstacle course.

During the day every day while we were there, F-18 Super Hornets were flying over us.

They were so loud!

We found this great Mexican place that had a $2 taco special!

They were delicious

We walked all the way down the boardwalk to the pier. It was about two miles so we bought the kids chocolate dipped ice cream cones to fortify them for the way back.

It worked pretty well.

I got an acai smoothie bowl. 

I have always wanted to try one. Tanner said the smoothies that I make are better.

Pizza for lunch, and then they had ice cream at the pizza place, so we got a second round

The hotel had a kids room where kids could color, play games, do crafts, and see two tortoises roaming around. We went twice and it was really fun.

And it was nice and warm

The kids loved the pool so much.

We had so much fun and are looking forward to going again sometime.
