Chicken Sandwich Wars

Today we did something that I have wanted to do for a long time!

We went to 6 different fast food places and got their chicken sandwich, and had a taste test.

Here is the score card that I made for the activity

Trevor and I split up and got 3 sandwiches each, which was a good idea because it was lunchtime so the lines were super long and it took about an hour to get all the sandwiches

We had different categories for our score card, Presentation, Bun Taste, Chicken Taste, Overall Taste and Total

The kids had very different tastes from me and Trevor. 

Tanner loved the Wendy's one and Kinley's favorite was McDonald's.

Maddie's tastes were pretty similar to mine and Trevor's though.

I guess developing a refined palate just takes time!

And here are the results, with everyone's points added up. 

Popeyes won by a landslide! Chick Fil A lost but maybe that is because we didn't put any sauce on before we tried it? We weren't sure the kids would like it.

Trevor made this bar graph because we also forgot to include the price in our comparison.

The whole process was very scientific, super delicious and really fun!
