We are in the thick of school, soccer and life raising awesome kids and loving it!
Happy Valentine's Day to me!
Trevor bought me these beautiful roses and set up a scavenger hunt for me around the house with clues and a bunch of presents! We also went to a Valentine's Couples Party that was really fun.
Trevor getting ready to go running when it was freezing cold outside.
Maddie said, "You look like a robber, no offense."
Making our daily trip to Lowe's, picking out building materials for our cased openings

Ever since we moved in, I have wanted Trevor to case them and he did last weekend!
After picture!
I love them so much and think they make the house look so much nicer
From the other side
The other one that is between the kitchen and dining room
He did a total of four of them
Trevor and the kids had the day off for President's Day so we went to St. Mary's River State Park
It was really nice and beautiful
The loop around the lake is 7.5 miles but we only did about one mile out and one back.
Maybe when Grandma comes to visit us she could go around a couple times while we feed the ducks!
Hiking on a log
We crossed this huge field as a "shortcut" through the trail
Taking a break and refueling with fruit snacks, hot cheetos, etc. for the way back
Throwing rocks in the lake
Afterwards we went to 5 guys
So delicious
I found about 10 fruit snack bags hidden behind our printer when I cleaned up our desk
The kids have to do some at home science projects for school so we all do them together.
This is the one where you can stick pencils through a plastic bag filled with water and none leaks out. Worked great!
Saturday after soccer we went to Gilbert Run State Park to check it out.
It is technically closed for the season but there was still lots of fun things to do.
First thing we did was climb the dam, even though there is a big sign saying not to.
Playing at the playground
We got to go over a fun bridge
And go on an awesome zipline!
The kids liked this the most
We went out on the pier and threw rocks and chased ducks
Another beautiful lake!
Throwing rocks
Another science experiment, this one the exploding baggie
Kinley wasn't sure about going on the zipline, but she did great!
She screamed the whole way on the first time, this was her much calmer second round.
And that is what we have been up to the last few weeks!

The videos made me laugh out loud! More videos please! Love seeing your kids grow up and learn so many cool things! You guys have the best family!
