Summer Fun

We have been having tons of fun so far this summer!

Our trip to Great Falls

The falls weren't that great, but we had a fun hike up there

At Trails Drive In on the way home

Ready to start swim lessons!

Maddie is much more comfortable with the water now and can put her whole head under, and swim across the pool with a kickboard!

Tanner is still a little scared of the water but did good in swim lessons.
They put the pool noodles on the kids so they could swim in the deep end.

After National Donut Day, I wanted to try a different recipe. This is the Pioneer Woman's recipe and it was about 10 times better than the first one I tried! These donuts tasted like they were from Krispy Kreme.

Maddie started a combo tap/dance/gymnastics class and she LOVES it!

Her teacher is really sweet and fun and does a good job with the girls.

Maddie with her friend Juliet, who also lost her front teeth!

At Primary park day.
The kids each ate about 4 popsicles.

Trevor got another award at work!

Kinley in nursery. She loves it!

Tanner going home teaching with Trevor.

Watching "Ever After High", their favorite show

Watching "The Great British Baking Show" has made me want to try a bunch of new baking recipes. This is puff pastry with raspberry jam.

Maddie got to go on a date with Daddy to McDonald's

Tanner was the hero of the week and got a new KTM hat

Starting off Father's Day week right with homemade bear claws!

Ready to head down to San Diego

Maddie picked an orange from the tree that Grandpa planted in the backyard.

Loading the furniture

Me and Kinley hanging out

We went to the beach

Maddie loved playing in the waves

Making a sand castle

Kinley walked around the beach with Grandma and Grandpa and then covered Grandma's legs with sand.

Uncle Ryan next!

In the Historic district of San Diego

At the Mormon Battalion museum

We were the only ones on the tour so our kids got to do all the fun stuff

Panning for gold

Looking out across San Diego

At the end of the tour, they take your picture.
We thought the whole thing was really fun!

Eating Jack in the Box on the way home

We stopped at Chaparral for a few hours

An early Father's Day present for Brent!

We found this baby bird in our backyard that wasn't moving. We weren't sure what was wrong with it, but we put it in some water to cool it off in case it was overheated and sure enough, a few minutes later, it was hopping around the yard.

Happy Father's Day to Trevor!

Heath Bar Cake!
