In Summer!!!

School is finally out for the summer, hooray!
We are super excited and looking forward to lots of swimming, relaxing, and most of all, sleeping in!

At Maddie's open house

Maddie with her lima bean plant.
She had the tallest one in the class!

Playing on the kindergarten playground afterwards

Maddie's favorite thing is the monkey bars

Grandma came with us to the open house since Trevor had a church meeting

Then we went to the big kid playground, which Maddie will get to enjoy next year

We went on Maddie's field trip to the Maturango Museum.
Maddie's teacher was super nice and let Tanner just be part of the group.

We ate lunch and played on the playground afterwards

On our family hike

I made Povitica!
I have been watching The Great British Baking Show, which is awesome, and when they made this on the show, I really wanted to try it too!
It turned out delicious.

Kinley spilled a bunch of glitter all over our dining room floor

Eating ice cream

Maddie with her graduation cap, which she decorated herself, and why we had the glitter out in the first place

Our friends, Grant and Jack, who came over to play

Maddie earned another PBIS award!
She got a free pizza and a drink from The Pizza Factory, which is really the only reason we would ever go in there, since it's super overpriced.

Poor Kinley, recovering from her fall off the bunk bed

Maddie's last field trip to McDonald's and Baskin Robbins!

The kids got a tour of McDonald's and then got free breakfast Happy Meals and played on the playground

On the tour of Baskin Robbins

The kids got to go behind the counter and scoop their own ice cream!

They even let Tanner have a turn!

Maddie's teacher made this for each kid in the class, full of pictures from the year and all of their projects and papers

At Maddie's graduation!

After the graduation, they let us take her home and start our summer!

Maddie's official diploma!
She was very worried about passing kindergarten and kept saying, "I hope I make it."

National Donut Day!
We invited our friends over to help us make homemade donuts to celebrate.

Uncle Ryan treated all of us to Casa Corona to say thank you for helping him get his new truck.
Kinley had her own bowl of salsa, just like Maddie!
