We had a really fun weekend, the best part (after general conference of course) was that Friday was my birthday! Trevor printed out this banner for me and put balloons all over the house, which the kids LOVED! He also bought me those beautiful flowers and a new comforter set! Maddie knew what he was getting me but actually didn't spill the beans until my actual birthday. I was impressed.
For my birthday I wanted to make lots of desserts and have tons of people over to celebrate with me. Two of my favorite things, delicious food and socializing.
Here is all the food I made. Everything turned out great!
The party was really fun! We had about 40 people come and there were kids running all over the place. I made everyone take a plate of goodies home so actually all of our leftovers were gone by Sunday. I am all baked out though, I don't think I will have the urge to bake for at least a week! :)
I made Trevor take this picture of me after the party because I was all made up. In the other one I had just gotten out of the shower and had no makeup on (obviously) but we wanted to take one with the kids too.
Watching General Conference
Finished the Elsa dress! It turned out pretty good I think. Not exactly what I had pictured in my head, but close enough. I used a nightgown pattern to make most of it and then just winged the rest. I made so many mistakes on it that I had to go back and fix that I was so glad to just be done with it.
The whole ensemble (even with the braid!)
It was funny because when I went to Joann's to buy the material for the dress the lady who was cutting the material was like "are you making a Frozen dress?" Haha, I guess she has been seeing lots of these lately.
Dirt beard!
Happy Birthday Natalie! I guess I never realized when you're birthday was! So close to Avery's! Your desserts look fabulous. It's always nice to have an excuse to make everything that you love. :)
