Summer Fun

Summer is going by way too fast!

We have been busy with lots of activities

Went to a fun 4th of July party.

Had to bring the masterpiece, and cupcakes

Afterwards we watched the fireworks at the fairgrounds with our friends

Played games until it got dark

It was fun!

We have been doing lots of swimming.

Kinley taught herself how to swim and swims like a fish now

We were at church one Sunday and the fire alarm went off in the middle of sacrament meeting.

Turns out it was an electrical fire in the WiFi router in the Family History Center. The Bishop sent everyone home early. As we were leaving, we saw no less than 10 fire trucks pulling up to the church.

Tanner is playing basketball this summer and is doing awesome! 

He scored a basket during his first game.

Got a new badge holder, even though the old one could probably have lasted a little longer

He also got a pressure washer and some fancy car wash stuff

I made him a cookies and cream ice cream pie.

He wanted an ice cream pie from Baskin Robbins, so I called them to see if I could order one, since I didn't see any on their website. They said sure, I just had to come in to order it. So I drove all the way over there, and after speaking to the manager, and the lady who makes all the cakes/pies, they said they don't actually make ice cream pies there. So I was like, fine, I'll make it myself. So I got to the store to buy an Oreo crust, for the pie, turns out, they were out of those. So I made that myself too! 😆

Went to the Blue Crabs game with some friends.

School is starting in one month! Trying to enjoy the last of summer before it is over.
