Grampi's visit, my birthday, Easter and new car

We have had a lot going on this week! 

It was Spring Break and getting warmer every day

Our beautiful tree blooming in the front yard

We went to an Easter party at our old neighbor's house

We did sack races

Maddie won all of them

We did egg races

Crafts

And an epic Easter egg hunt

Maddie found the golden egg with 5 bucks in it!

That night the power went out at our house, right around bedtime.

It was out for 3 hours! 

This happened in our old neighborhood.

The storm was crazy.

We went on a pre-conference walk with some friends from our ward

Tanner flew his drone

Kinley checked out a cookbook at the library and was dying to make this drink

My dad came to visit us!

We had a BBQ in between conference sessions

Went out to La Tolteca for my birthday

I love to tan on the deck so Trevor got me a really nice lounge chair

I got a new car!

Lol it's really Trevor's but we picked it up on my birthday

After picking up the car, we drove up to Philadelphia

We swam, ate at Chili's and watched cartoons

Grampi came with us

We got to see the Liberty Bell

So many pretty tulips

The weather was so nice

Went to Geno's for authentic cheesesteaks.

We didn't know this but there was an event going on that day, and they were giving out free cheesesteaks. The line was super long and it was crazy. All part of the experience I guess!

And I got a free t shirt!

We went back to the hotel lobby to eat

We all loved the cheesesteaks

Made it back home and went to see the Super Mario Bros movie in the theater!

We all loved it and thought it was really fun.

My friend gave me these vanilla beans and cinnamon sticks for free!

I am making my own vanilla with the vanilla beans.

Trevor and I had to buy vodka for it and since Maryland law does not allow alcohol to be sold in grocery stores, for our date night we went to the liquor store for the first time ever!
