We had Thanksgiving in Texas!
But first, a few other things we were up to
Tanner's friend's birthday party at the bounce house place
We went with Trevor and Maddie on the Youth Temple Walk.
We hung out at the Visitor's Center while they hiked up to the temple.
They had a program afterwards in the auditorium
Maddie wanted me to do her hair in a bow
On our walk
Got the kids treats for doing so well in school
On our way down to Texas!
First stop, Chick-fil-A
Made it!
We had yummy Cafe Rio salads for dinner
Sawyer loved Uncle Trevor
Chandra and I went to HEB and I had to get a picture of all of the Blue Bell!
We bought some too
And they had my favorite HEB rotisserie chicken salad!
It was just as good as I remembered
We ate at In N Out for lunch
Then played at the park
Took a cute cousin picture
There was lots of watching football and soccer
We had paint night for the kids
It was a lot of fun!
And they all turned out great
Drinking fancy hot chocolate
We drove up to Dallas and went on a hike to a pond
The kids all got their own canteens and were great hikers!
The weather was perfect
The whole group
We did a Crumbl cookie and Swig drink taste test
Everyone took it very seriously
Cheers for our Swig drinks!
It was really fun
The cookies we tried
Milk Chocolate Chip was the top pick.
The Chocolate Sprinkle was least favorite but personally the Salted Caramel Cheesecake was the best one.
Trevor teaching Come Follow Me about Jonah
Torchy's lunch
Took the kids to play frisbee golf at the park
Maddie helped make the pies!
Doing the lattice crust
All the yummy pie (with ice cream, of course)
The cousins all played so good together!
Tanner and Maddie's creation
Tanner's turkey leg
Chandra and I finished this 500 piece puzzle in two days
Thanksgiving Dinner
We had such a fun time and are so glad we got to see Tyler and Chandra and all the cousins. Not pictured was lots of talking, laughing, movie quoting, working out at the gym, MarioKart tournament, kids making and filming a play, and eating as much as we possibly could!
Such a great visit! Thanks for coming!!! Love the temple pics too!
