It was so nice being there in the morning when it wasn't so crowded!
We had about 2 hours where we could just walk on any ride. We got lots of rides done in that time and it was really fun!
At Star Wars land
Millenium Falcon
Around 1:00 is when we were at Star Wars land. We had reservations to ride Indiana Jones around 3:30 so we decided to go ahead and wait in the Rise of the Resistance line. It is supposed to be the best ride ever. Wait time estimated 75 minutes so we figured it wasn't too bad. After waiting for over 2 hours, they came on the loudspeaker and told us that the ride had broken down. We waited another 15 minutes before deciding to bail and go on Indiana Jones. We used Genie Plus to skip the line and right before it was our turn to go, the Indiana Jones ride broke down! Luckily they got it up and running again in about 10 minutes and the kids all loved it.
After Indiana Jones I went and got a pineapple Dole Whip, which was one of the food highlights of the trip. It tasted like heaven after waiting in line for hours on end. We found out they had other flavors at another restaurant so we went there too, where I got a mango one, which tasted even better.
Got to meet up with my friend Kimm for breakfast!
I saw a bunch of my friends while I was there and it made me so happy!
Trevor, Tyler, Kevin and Chandra hiked Mt. Whitney on Saturday
They left at 1:00 am and started hiking at 3:20 am
Made it to the top!
22 miles in one day!
They got back around 7:00 that night
While they were gone, we played with the kids on the lawn
I drove the van full of kids over to Uncle Kyle's house
They played with the bunnies.
Kinley just loved them.
And played video games for hours!

Trevor got up and bore his testimony
Off road day
The kids loved this
It was really hot so after getting them set up, Chandra and I went to Starbucks for cool drinks and to relax in the AC
Riding the shuttle to the LA airport
Heading home!
When we were in line to board, we asked if we could preboard since we have a family. The lady I talked to was really nice and said sure. However, when we went up to board, another lady said absolutely not, since we didn't have a baby. The first lady felt bad and so when we were boarding the plane she asked if we were sitting together. I said no, that I was in one row with two kids, and Trevor was in a different one, with Maddie. She said the back row was completely open and so we all were able to sit together on the way home. A small thing but so nice, and I was very grateful!
We had such a fun time on our trip! It was so great seeing everyone and visiting Ridgecrest again.
