Spring Update

Maddie showcased what she has been working on this year for Young Women.

She has been practicing baking and learning how to bake lots of new things. She brought yummy brownies for everyone to try.

I made the king cake for our Mardi Gras party with our friends.

It is like a cinnamon roll ring, but it has plastic babies inside. Whoever finds the baby brings the cake the next year. Kinley found it so I guess I am bringing it again next year!

Finally-masks optional for school!

Kinley had a doctor's appointment so I let her stay home the whole day and took her out to Mexican for lunch.

We even got dessert

Our big project this month has been redoing our floors!

This is the truck all weighed down with 28 boxes of vinyl plank flooring.

It took over our living room for a while

The dining room had carpet in it before, which I hated.

Now it looks so much better and is way easier to clean!

Maddie and I got to go ice skating with some friends!

She had never been before, but picked it up right away and loved it

Tanner was feeling sick so I kept him home.

He requested ice cream for lunch so that is what we did.

The leprechaun visited us but we didn't catch him
