This is Halloween

We had a very fun Halloween!

 

Tanner did his hair mohawk style for a few days

We carved pumpkins

We did one scary one and one happy one

That night when it got dark, we gathered around to read The Widow's Broom

The pumpkin man came while Trevor was reading the book and left us treats!

No one saw him this time

Except when we looked at the security camera footage from when we were reading the book, there he was!

I made "dinner in a pumpkin" and it turned out great!

Halloween!

We have Elsa, Iron Man and Ariel

I waited with candy while Trevor took the kids through our neighborhood.

Not a single kid came.

Back with their first pumpkinful of candy, which we promptly poured out in the trunk and drove to another neighborhood to replenish

The total haul. The kids got way more candy this year than ever! 

They trick or treated for about 2 hours, and had about 6 large bowls full.

We had some friends over and had a barbeque!

The weather was perfect and we played outside with them for a few hours.

We went back to church for the first time!

Definitely different, but still good. The kids did great!
