Solvang, Valentine's Day, and Temple Trip

Trevor and I got to go on our trip to Solvang!
We took Kinley with us.

She loves the black beans at Café Rio

First bakery of the day!
We tried all 5 of them

I got this amazing cherry boat, which is a puff pastry "boat" filled with cherry filling.
It was my favorite pastry of the day. Trevor tried a raspberry Danish and said it was the best one he's ever had.

There were windmills everywhere and the whole place looked like Europe

Second bakery, trying the cream puffs

We found a knife shop and Trevor bought a white Swiss Army knife so he can take it with him to the temple. I got a purple one for my keychain.

It rained while we were there but since we're from Ridgecrest and don't get that much rain, we just enjoyed it

Mortensen's bakery

It was so hard to choose what to get!

Olson's Bakery.
This was the last bakery and afterwards we were so full. Luckily we had walked around a lot and then when we went back to the hotel, we worked out together.

At the Little Mermaid Fountain

We went to Pea Soup Andersen's for dinner

Sally's Baking Addiction challenge this month was chocolate truffles.
They turned out so yummy and super chocolatey. I covered them in Heath Bar Bits.

Going to Home Depot is always an adventure.
Trevor bought some cabinets and put them in my laundry area so I would have more storage. It makes the space feel so much cozier and look nicer.

Trevor dug up one of our Joshua trees in preparation for our sewer line being replaced.

Tanner lost his two front teeth!

Making chocolate covered strawberries for Maddie's class Valentine's party

Kinley and I decorated cookies with some of our friends

My Valentine's present from Trevor

The activity day girls heart attached us!

They even left cupcakes

At the Los Angeles Temple

Trevor was inside helping the youth with baptisms so we hung out outside, taking pictures and looking at the fountains

It was still windy there, but nice and warm and sunny

This is more Kinley's personality

The more formal pose

Hanging out in the visitor's center

Luckily Tanner brought his Pokémon cards so we didn't get bored waiting

Family pic!

Went straight to Grandma's house to catch the supercross

Digging up our yard to do some landscaping

Kinley and Maddie were very good helpers

We are planning on planting some trees and xeroscaping so we don't have to keep our grass up from now on. Hopefully it will look good!
