BYU Recruiting Trip, Part 1

There were a million pictures from our BYU recruiting trip, so I divided it up into 2 parts! Here is part 1

Sally's Baking Addiction Challenge was Pate a choux, or choux pastry, which I have heard about only 1000 times from The Great British Baking Show. I knew I had to try it. I made the peanut butter mousse filled eclairs. They were as delicious as they sound.

Our new dining room!
We got a new dining room table and chairs and a new rug

Our new leather couches for the family room

Maddie's sweet note that she left on my pillow

Chocolate molten lava cakes for family movie night, also a la Sally's Baking Addiction

On our way to Provo!
We stopped at Rowley's Red Barn

Made it to Grami and Grampi's house!
The kids played in the basement for hours

Trevor and I hiked around my parents neighborhood in Cedar Hills. It is beautiful and only 3 minutes away from the Mt. Timpanogos temple

Kinley playing dress up

Playing at the park.
There are as many parks in Cedar Hills as there are church buildings, and there was at least one church building on every corner.

Mermaid tail from Auntie Agey for Kinley's birthday!
She loves it

At Thanksgiving Point with Grami.
First we fed the goats.

Then we went in for story time. They did a thing where they would ask the kids questions to write their own story. They asked "What do you find on the ground when you're just walking around?" and Tanner answered, "black widows." Then later they asked, "Where do you go with your family that's fun?" and Tanner said, "Legoland!" And they put both of those things in their story.

On the pony ride!
Kinley was a little scared, but she did great!

Maddie loved it. She said this was her favorite thing.

On the hay ride, pulled by two giant horses

They have a ton of little play areas for the kids

On the climbing/jungle gym area a the Museum of Natural Curiosity

Rope climb!

Planting their crops

At the automotive center.
They had this adorable "kid city" with a bunch of different stores and fun things.

Doing a puppet show

At the water center

Doing the zipline on the fun park outside

Had to swing by Shirley's bakery for some yummy pumpkin bread

Shoe shopping at the mall!

At Rowley's Red Barn Fall Festival.
This was the cutest thing ever. We went on a tractor ride to get there and they had all these fun things to do for the kids.

Apple cannon

Corn maze

Go karts

Hay pyramid

Huge trampolines
