Summer is just flying by! I can't believe it is half over already.
Making ice cream in my Kitchen Aid ice cream maker is one of my favorite things now!
Kinley loves the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough flavor.
I made up these snack trays so the kids would have some healthy options if they were hungry.
I have loved using them too.
For example, when snack time comes around, they can take turns with each tray.
We went swimming with our friends at the Trona pool!
It was so much fun, and only $1 each. Besides us, there was only one other group there.
Maddie didn't get out of the water the entire time, and we stayed for about 2.5 hours.
She just loves swimming and diving for rings.
Father's Day Eve!
Father's Day
The kids helped give Trevor his presents
We love Trevor and are grateful for everything he does for our family.
He is a great dad!
I took the kids out on dates so we could spend some one on one time together.
Maddie and I went to Pizza Factory, also known as Pizza Planet. We used her coupon she got from the summer reading program.
Tanner wanted to go to McDonald's so we ate there. We ordered an ice cream sundae but their ice cream machine had just broken, so they gave us 3 chocolate chip cookies instead. Then they brought me a small smoothie instead of a medium, so they let me keep the small one, and brought me a medium one too!
Kinley got a really bad fever and was super lethargic all day
She was sitting on my lap during my primary meeting and fell asleep on my arm.
They finally started the Walmart Grocery Pickup service here, and it is the BEST THING EVER.
I love it so much and have already used it 4 times since it started.
Kinley used her crayons to draw a picture of a "princess and a bunny" on our wall
Taco Bell run
Trevor and the kids helping me finish the puzzle, which was bunch of buttons.
I had done all the work up until this point, and then they helped me finish it that night.
I had done all the work up until this point, and then they helped me finish it that night.
All done!
Took this cutie to Bear Hugs for some yummy frozen yogurt after she started feeling better
Tanner told Trevor that he could beat me in a race, so we decided to set one up for family night.
We told the kids that if any of the kids could beat me or Trevor, we would take them out for ice cream at Baskin Robbins.
We each got a practice turn before the actual race started
Me racing Tanner. He actually did beat me! He is super fast.
Maddie beat me too. Trevor ran faster than all the kids but I could only outrun Kinley.
Baskin Robbins for Family Night
Tanner helping me make Apple Pie Bars. I thought they tasted amazing, just like apple pie, but he said he would rather just have a green apple. Say what???
Kinley doesn't take a nap every day but she fell asleep like this watching a movie
Helping to set up Grandma and Grandpa's pool!
Maddie loved splashing in the water while it was filling up
Popsicles to cool off
Relaxing in the shade
Kinley got to splash with Grandpa
Tanner lost his first tooth!
He has been telling me for a while that his bottom front tooth hurt, but he never wiggled it. Then last night he was eating a banana and said that it hurt. While I was brushing his teeth, I asked if I could wiggle it and it was super loose! Trevor got it out in one try.
Splashing in the pool.
Maddie and Tanner played in it for about 2 hours while it was filling up.
And that is our summer so far. We have some fun trips coming up and are looking forward to the rest of it!

So many fun things! I love that you guys are either outside or in the kitchen! Everyone looks so grown up-especially Tanner! Congrats on losing the first tooth-looks like he raked it in!
