April update

April has been really fun so far and has gone by really fast!

Trevor and I got to go out to eat at Mon Reve for lunch!

The food was amazing. I was afraid that everyone would have hyped it up too much and we would be disappointed, but it was just as good as everyone said it was.

Maddie is the best at making pizza!

She always rolls out the dough, puts on the sauce and all the toppings and it is delicious!

Now that I have my new KitchenAid, I feel like I can tackle really hard things, like homemade croissants

On our way back from LA, seeing Trevor off on his work trip to Utah.

I like to get the kids Happy Meals and then we all eat together at Panera so that I can eat something fun too!

Maddie wanted to make something out of her Shopkins cookbook so she decided on Kooky Cookie, which is just a pie shaped chocolate chip cookie, with some frosting decoration

Turned out super cute and really yummy!

I also finally tried making homemade bagels!

They turned out so good, it made me wonder why I ever bought the ones from the store.

Maddie was dancing at the Children's Fair in two dances!

She did so good and said she wasn't nervous at all since she has done the dances so many times.

This hummingbird has been sitting up in our tree for weeks now. If we ever look at the tree and she is not there, she quickly comes back within a few minutes. We are guessing that this is her little nest and that maybe there are some baby hummingbirds on the way?? We are excited to find out.
