Long Beach Aquarium

Maddie is on Spring Break this week!

We wanted to do something fun, and Trevor had a free night at a hotel, so we decided to use it and visit the Long Beach Aquarium.

We stopped at Chili's in Palmdale for lunch. 

They have this new rewards program where you can get free chips and salsa at every visit!

Kinley loves to look at the desserts on the screen.

We made it to Long Beach!

We walked down to the pier to check it out.

We made sure that we knew how to get to the aquarium.

It was close enough to our hotel that we could walk there. 

We walked up to the lighthouse for fun.

The kids loved how it changed colors.

There was a little store with snacks, so we got the kids ice cream for dinner.

There was an outlet mall right next to the pier, so I did a little birthday shopping.

The kids wanted to go up and down the escalators at the mall.

The water main broke at the aquarium, and they didn't have any running water for the bathrooms and water fountains. They weren't sure when they were going to open, so they had some of the workers come out and do some presentations for the kids while we were waiting.

Since we had to wait to get in, they gave everyone free tickets! 

We got to go inside about an hour after they were originally supposed to open. 

We got to pet the baby sharks!

And the sting rays/manta rays/some kind of rays.

This was Maddie's favorite thing.

The kids were great and we all loved the aquarium.
