Winter Update

The weather has been super warm here, it has been so nice!At school, Maddie's class watched to see if the groundhog saw his shadow on Groundhog Day. She told me that he did see his shadow and I said, "So, six more weeks of winter then?" and she turned to me and said, "It's winter???"

Kinley just loves this Mickey Mouse cushion/chair thing and sits on it every time we go there.

I used to buy hot Cheetos in bulk at Sams Club when we went out of town, but then I discovered you can get them for the same price through Google Express! When they arrived, Trevor was pretty excited. I mostly use them for Maddie's lunch but everyone else (except me) eats them too.

We all got the flu this year but Tanner was the one who got it first. This is him watching TV and resting.

I found this Disney Princess gingerbread kit on sale for $4 after Christmas and knew the kids would love it.

Tanner at his basketball game. He has been improving a lot since he started and is getting really good at dribbling the ball. We told him if he steals the ball, he gets a candy bar, and if he makes a basket, he gets a Happy Meal. So far he has earned 2 candy bars.

We went with Trevor down to LA to see him off before he left for travel last week.

Usually Trevor takes Tanner to basketball practice but since he was on travel, we all went. This is how Kinley felt about it.

We switched the kids into different rooms! Now Tanner has his own room and the girls are together. They were all super excited for the change, especially Tanner. I went to wake him up this morning and this is what I saw.

This used to be by our living room fireplace but we moved it into the hallway. I love having it there because now there is somewhere to put all of our bags!

We have always wanted a reading nook, and we already had this chair in our room

So we added a little lamp and table. I love reading there now!

It rained for a few days in a row, so the kids were out enjoying it!
