The Pumpkin Man

Last week we invited the Hedmans over to carve a pumpkin with us.

Afterwards Grandma read a spooky book to the kids, all the lights were off and while she was reading we got a visit from . . .

 

The Pumpkin Man!!

 

The kids were SO scared! Maddie was crying and Tanner would not let go of Kalie for anything. He was so scared the rest of the night, and even now when we mention the pumpkin man he grabs onto us really tight and says "oh no."

 

Oddly enough, while Grandma was reading the book to the kids, Kyle had to go out to get something from the car and didn't get back until the pumpkin man had scared the wits out of us and then left treats on our doorstep. He missed the whole thing! Oh well, maybe he will see him next year.
