Texas Vacation

The day after Christmas we packed up all our stuff and drove down to Vegas so we could fly out the next morning to Austin to visit my family! This whole Christmas season was really stressful with everything going on, sicknesses, parties, traveling, etc. so once we got to Austin I finally felt like I could relax! And I didn't cook at all, besides making some salsa.

My family had a "Despicable Me" puzzle that was impossible!

Maddie got so much attention! She had tons of people to read books to her and play Barbies and princesses with her.

We went swimming at the YMCA, thank goodness the pool was heated because outside it was freezing!

We went out for frozen yogurt a bunch of times while we were in Austin. This was after our girls night shopping spree!

My family has this game called "pot" that they love to play which is a combination of taboo and gestures. Here is my dad acting out something . . . too funny to not put on here!

The quilt that my mom (and me and my sisters) made for my brother because he left for his first semester at BYU! She got the idea from Twilight.

 

The guys watched tons of football while the girls talked, shopped, and played games

 

 

 

We took lots of walks and went to the park too. Maddie loved going down the slide.

On the last day of our trip Jamie got really attached to Trevor, it was so cute!

 

We had so much fun on our trip but are glad to be home in Ridgecrest.
